Many of the objects beyond the Moon are plainly visible to the naked eye. The planets Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn were known to the ancients, and the stars are visible as well.

With the invention of the telescope, we were able to see at least some details on those planets. However, most of what we know about the planets have been from space probes traveling to those places. The first long range probes were the Voyager missions, which are still transmitting data back to Earth from the distant edge of the solar system as they pass into deep space.

What is the study of objects beyond your own planet and solar system?

The study you seek is astronomy.

Which minor members of the solar system are thought to have formed beyond the orbit of Pluto?

Minor members of the solar system that are thought to have formed beyond the orbit of Pluto include many objects in the Kuiper Belt and the scattered disc, such as trans-Neptunian objects (TNOs). Notable examples include Eris, Haumea, and Makemake, which are classified as dwarf planets. Additionally, comets originating from the Oort Cloud are believed to have formed in this distant region of the solar system. These objects provide insights into the early conditions and processes of solar system formation.

A vehicle sent beyond earth to study planets and other objects within our solar system?

No. Mars is the fourth planet of our solar system.

How is Sirius star different from all the other objects in the solar system?

When Observes think they have spotted others beyond the orbit of?

When observers see objects beyond the outer reaches of our solar system, they may have spotted a new dwarf planet, a trans-Neptunian object, or a distant Kuiper Belt object. These observations could help expand our understanding of the outer regions of our solar system and the diversity of objects that exist there.

What objects is NOT a part of our solar system?

Objects that are not part of our solar system include stars, such as those in other galaxies, and exoplanets that orbit stars outside our solar system. Additionally, cosmic phenomena like black holes and nebulae that exist far beyond the influence of our Sun are also not part of our solar system. These entities exist in the broader universe rather than within the gravitational bounds of our Sun and its planets.

A star and all the objects that orbit it are?

A star and all the objects that orbit it are part of a solar system. The star is typically at the center of the system, and objects such as planets, moons, asteroids, and comets orbit around it due to its gravitational pull. These objects together form a dynamic and interconnected system.
