It depends on the rabbit breed.

a Lionhead rabbit (dwarf breed) comes out about the size of two peanut shells.

We are talking ounces.

A medium size rabbit isn't much bigger but maybe a bit bulkier in size.

a large breed such as the Flemish giants have kits about as long as your cell phone and of course bulkier yet about 1 inch in diameter.

Of course these sizes will vary according to the size of the litter.

For instance, I had two Lionhead litters, both mothers were the same basic size and share the same sire. One had five kits, and the other had 3 kits.

the litter of 3 were larger and progressed faster than the litter of 5. The babies were weaned at the same time and the litter of 3 were twice the size of the litter of 5!
