Assuming that the rabbit is not a lop earred breed, one may assume that the rabbit has damage to the cartilage in it's ear. OR, if summer time, because of extreme heat the rabbit's ears grow faster than the babies do the cartilage is not strong enough to hold up the heavy ears. In some cases the rabbit will grow into it's ears but some may remain damaged for life
To breed a rabbit take the female rabbit to the males cage never to the females cage. Once you have put them in the cage leave them there over night. After that in the morning take the rabbit out for 1 to 12 hours and then put them back in . Hope this helps if not send me an email at modlin.riley@gmail.com
If your rabbit is panting heavily, she may be ill, or she may just be exhausted from running around. Whenever you're concerned your rabbit may be ill, observe her health and behaviour for signs of illness (see related question below for details). If you think your rabbit is ill, bring it to the vet -- better safe than sorry!

Rabbits use their ears to cool themselves off, and it is normal for a rabbit's ears to be warm to the touch. If your rabbit's ears are hot, and the rabbit is breathing heavily, they may have a fever and need to be taken to the vet immediately. This may also occur if they have been running around alot. Often in addition to hot ears and heavy breathing, the whites of the rabbit's eyes may show. If these symptoms persist for more than an hour, please take your rabbit to an exotic animal vet as soon as you can.
