The Canon VIXIA HF200 Flash Memory Camcorder weighs 14.1 ounces. The shipping weight with everything included is three pounds.
The Canon flash-based camcorder doesn't have shake correction, but you can always fix this if you postprocess.
If you are trying to import video from your Canon to the computer, use Windows Gallery (Vista OS). Otherwise, download Kodak EasyShare software and use the program to import the media.I believe the media can also be imported via Windows itself (but I've never tried it before). Your best bet is to open your Windows Help and Support files and search "importing video from camera" information.
There are many great camcorder models available from Sony, Panasonic, JVC etc. Many sites offer reviews on camcorders, I personally like Cnet.com as they have reviews and recommendations for various models for different price ranges. It depends on your needs. Look at your price range, look at what's available, and then compare them directly. Overall, my vote goes to the Canon HG10 in best bang for the least buck, but the Sony cameras are by far much higher quality if you're willing to spend some extra cash. If you want to go really cheap, the flip MinoHD might be for you. It's easy to use, high quality, and only $149.99.
