Mrs. Long described a man speaking to Annie Chapman mere moments before her murder; this man was most certainly her killer. Mrs. Long only saw him from behind however and was able only to describe his jacket, hat, and her opinion that he seemed like a foreigner.
George Hutchinson saw the man seen with Mary Kelly face to face and is largely believed to be the one witness that truly saw the Whitechapel murderer.
