When they are flushed they can fly about 20 feet off the ground and for about 50 to 60 yards. They seldom fly which is why they don't fly far, they do most of their travelling on the ground. Do chickens fly much? Quail are basically small chickens, so think of it that way. :)
Wings and aerodynamics make eagles fly.
It depends. Flying below radar is usually flying below the equipment used to detect things on radar. It could be a very high tower, hundreds of stories off of the ground, or it could be a satellite just a couple stories off of the ground.
why the ancient pueblo built their homes high off the ground
in desperation i built a garden on top o patio frame 3m above the ground and the bloody turkeys still got up there no problem. i have seen them fly up to a branch 12m off the ground with consummate ease. while they don't fly often - I've seen them fly 3 times - they are in fact very good at it. john

They are 10 feet high off of the ground.
We (people) are too heavy to fly, we don't have wings or propellars to lift us off the ground and we just weren't built to fly. I'm sorry, but we can still fly in planes.
Take off is when the wheels of the aeroplane leaves the runway (ie the aeroplane takes off from the ground).
The aircraft has to go 100 mph or more (depends on aircraft) to get off the ground in time.
No, coconuts do not grow underground. They grow on palm trees, high up off the ground.
All commercial aircraft can fly low. That is how they line up for a landing . However, each type has a minimums factor of which is it speed and staff. If the pilot maintains these they can fly at low levels but doing so can cause high fuel burn, potential ground strike, hazard building factors including high reach cranes and towers
