If left out in such conditions the dog would be very very uncomfortable and somewhat irritated with human company.
Their regular temperature is 103 degrees Fahrenheit, dogs' temperature is higher than humans. You can feel if your dog has a fever putting your fist in their ears...especially GSD, those ears are wonderful for this.
Anywhere in the world, the coat is thick enough to survive in cold conditions and as long as she/he has shelter and water in hot places, there also.
On a 100-degree day, an attic can reach temperatures of up to 140-160 degrees Fahrenheit.
A German Shepherd is considered an adult when they're 1 year old. They normally don't mature til they're about 3 years old. I'm an expert on German Shepherds. I've loved them since I was 8 years old. I don't own one, but I will next summer. They are high maintenence dogs. They have high standards. You need to be able to know how to take care of these dogs. They need a soft hand when they're handeled. Never hit, slap, kick, or yell. You never, ever under any circumstances leave a German Shepherd in a hot car. If you do, that dog will die in less than 10 seconds. I'm not kidding. Its true. If your not capable of taking care of these dogs, then the German Shepherd is NOT the right dog for you.
They are good in all weather, but anything over 80-90 is to hot for any dog as they don't sweat like us. They aren't going to drop from being out for a while, but I wouldn't leave it outside day after day in that weather. Same for the winter, below freezing isn't good for any dog, but proper shelter & they will be ok. But the German Sheperd is one of the most versatile dogs and will do good in any conditions the world over.
