How human voice is strong?

When we whistle, we are simply exhaling while closing up our lips. Much like whistling, we are exhaling while we speak and partially closing up our vocal cords. It mimics the same effect, but the reason why it doesn't sound like a whistle is because the sound waves have much time to resonate within our chests, throat, and mouth. The RESONANCE is essentially where the STRENGTH of our voices derive from.
