According to the Bible in 1 John 5: 19 in the New Testament, you can read the following. " The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one, and Revelation 12: 9 in the last Book of the Bible shows, the wicked one is described in these words. " The original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited world". The world is affected by the wicked one, since Satan has begun his career and influence over humans. Genesis chapter 3 in the first Book of the Bible is mankind's history. Jeremiah 10: 23 reminds us that it does not belong to man even to direct his step and when Jesus was on earth he reminded us about that fact in other words in Matthew 4: 4. "Man must live not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from Jehovah God's mouth. God has given mankind the opportunity to prove that they cannot live without being guided by a higher power. Adam was given the choice to live up to God's requirements with the opportunity to be successful and to live forever on earth. Read Genesis 2: 17 which shows the conversation that he had with God. "But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, you must not eat from it, for the day you eat from it you will certainly die." Adam knew that if he did not eat from the tree he would not die. That command would have made no sense if Adam was meant to grow old and die anyway. Genesis 3: 1-5 shows how both Adam and Eve were deceived, and Romans 5: 12 explains why the world is affected by humans. Humans were left to decide for themselves what is good...and what is not good. That is the burden that humans could not carry successfully on their own. Only Jehovah God has the right to decide in the absolute sense what is good and what is bad. We have to admit that we humans do not always know what the outcome of our choices will be; nor do we know whether they will turn out for our good every time. That is why we so often see people make choices or decisions with all good intentions--only to have them result in suffering, disaster, or tragedy. Proverbs 14: 12 reads: "There is a way seem right to a man, But in the end it leads to death". Example: The discovery of the "smart phone" is one of those fabrications that has killed all forms of communication today, and is part of the world's polution problems that is affecting our environment. So to answer your question: " The world is affected by humans, because the world is lying in the power of the wicked influence. 1 John 5: 20 explains that Jesus came on earth to give us insight concerning our past, present and future. And in Matthew 6: 9,10 he talks about His Father's kingdom, (God's government) where His will, will take place as in heaven also on earth. He also taugh us how to live up to God's requirements. Our choice is just as important that it was for Adam and Eve. Psalm 37: 29 shows that the day will come when only the righteous will possess the earth and they will live forever on it. In the mean time John 17: 3 shows us how to be part of those who are going to be the inhabitants of our beautiful planet. It reads: " This means everlasting life, their coming to know to , the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.
