As A Christian:You should share the Gospel with others and pray for them. We should follow Jesus' teachings regarding effective prayer: Prayer is not to be offered to impress others (Matthew 6:56) and prayer does not involve long winded attempts to manipulate God. Prayer in Jesus' name is prayer seeking His will and submitting to His authority (John 14:13, 1 John 5:4). Be mindful and respectful of the person you are praying with or for.
