How in light of Matthew 4.8 and 9 can a person knowing that Satan is the ruler and owner of all kingdoms serve a country when Jesus was no part of this world?

Answer from Editor: Yes you can serve your country when you also serve Jesus and the Kingdom of God. Jesus said to look at a coin. On it it had Caesar. He then said, "Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's." We do have to pay our taxes and serve our country when we are called to do so. It is rather hard to ignore your fellowman in your country when God told us to help everyone, esp. widows, orphans and others. We are obligated to help our fellow man and to help those around the world. What better way to do it than to be a military service person, a government person, a missionary and the little ol' lady who collects donations for the poor people in our own country and around the globe?
