They died at different times and by different ways
each one both were presidents during war like Washington was president during the revolution was and Abraham was president during the civil war.
Both presidents pushed for and supported westward expansion, westward expansion further helped America increase in size.
The death of Abraham Lincoln by an assassin's bullet shocked the people of the north and south alike.
Abraham Lincoln wrote, "In giving freedom to the slave, we assure freedom to the free - honorable alike in what we give, and what we preserve."
They were alike in many ways, but the most interesting way they were alike was in the way they took the loss of a loved one. Abraham Lincoln thought of killing himself after the loss of his first love, Ann Rutledge. Abraham never got over this first love. He told Mary Todd just before he married her that he didn't love her. He told Mary that he loved Ann and that he would never get over her and he would always love her. Jefferson Davis married Sarah Knox Taylor. She died after three months of blissful marriage. He didn't want to live without her. He went into seclusion many years after her death.
They are brothers daa
Abraham Lincoln.
They were both men who followed their dreams, they both lived tough lives, both became famous, died in their 50's, and they both changed the United States.
The Lincoln Memorial and the Parthenon are both in doric style.
Some of the ways they are alike is that they both got married, they were both president of a country, they were both born in Kentucky and they were both presisents during the Civil War. I only know two ways that they are different. Davis was for the Confederacy, and Lincoln was for the Union. Also, another is that Davis had a better education. I'm sorry I don't know more... can someone else help? Add on to what I have already written?Differences: Jefferson Davis, although voted in by the people of the Confederacy, did not gain as much popularity as Lincoln did. He suffered acutely from neurological problems and other nervous disorders such as a tic. He constantly overworked himself with the details of both civil government and military operations. He was undoubtedly, however, courageous, sincere, had great integrity and a strong devotion to the South. Lincoln, on the other hand, only grew more popular as the war slowly progressed. He was in charge of a long-established government and a financially stable environment. He was inexperienced as a politician but he proved superior to the well-informed Davis. He was tactful, quiet, patient, and he developed a genius for interpreting and leading a fickle public opinion
They are both often considered two of the most prominent United States presidents, they are both on coin money as well as paper money. They are both also considered as they were both in the White House.
