Hi Jake - I'm not sure if she had any formal burial. She passed away just months before my great-aunt, gertrude olmstead, who was I believe, the executor of edna's estate (I was 12 at the time). As I remember Edna had become increasingly reclusive over the years and rarely left her home, which I thought was in malibu, but I might be wrong, and I don't think she wanted any formal funeral. I remember that we donated her beautiful wedding dress to a museum, along with photos and such (and most of my aunt's clothing as well). If she were buried anywhere, it would most likely be at forest lawn in glendale as that's where my aunt and uncle were buried. Are you interested in silent film or edna's personal story? are you a relative? I'm just curious as I came upon your question while researching my family's history.
