The original robin (dick grayson) is doing very well. He has taken up the cowl as batman since Bruce waynes death (you'll have to read the books to get filled in on that). And batgirl is actually staring in three titles these days, batgirl, batman, and gotham sirens. check 'em all out great reads.
No, neither Nightwing nor Batgirl have children.
Robin is, sort of, but Batgirlisn't.

Well, I don't think he called Robin anything but the Jokers wife Harley calls Robin Bird Brain and she calls batgirl... bratgirl. If you have seen batman beyond in the scene "That night..." You see them call robin bird brain and batgirl, bratgirl.
flash, superman, alfred, robin, batgirl, nightwing.
Talon is anti-Robin and so is Scorn.
Maybe on the episode "the breakout" when they were both alone fighting black mask without batman or the episode "white heat" when they kinda flirted when fighting firefly after robin saved batgirl and the episode "artifacts" when they were I there 20s as robin being nightwing and batgirl being oracle when the where constantly bickering flirtatiously.
Robin would still be in love with Starfire. But he would have met Batgirl, and fall in love with her too. So probley he ends up with Batgirl. DíckXBabs Forever!
Alicia Silverstone ( Batgirl/ Barbara Wilson, Alfred's niece)
No- Batgirl will not be in "The Dark Knight" sequel as Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale have stated that Robin will not be in it as long as they do it. So it is safe to presume that Batman will have no sidekick in the current series.
