DNA holds all the genetic code for the development of an organism.
Mutations in the genetic coding causes traits in the organism to change. A change in environment allows the organisms with beneficial mutations to live on and pass on their genes to later generations while organisms with harmful mutations die off.
Over time the organisms will have adapted to their environment, this is the process called Natural Selection.
Evolution is the change in allele ( different molecular form of same gene-DNA )frequency over time in a population of organisms. While natural selection selects the better adapted variant organisms that have different gene frequencies due to recombination and mutation of DNA.
ya of course evolutionary changes is due to mutation
All species have the same genetic code.
Vestigial
All living things have DNA -- both coding and non-coding DNA. The percentage of similarity between living things matches up with the preexisting theory of evolution.
DNA
There is strong evolutionary evidence by people such as Darwin. There is evidence in our biological structures ie: bones and DNA in particular.Although evolution (the theory) is debated there is very strong evidence (look at Darwins books and research)
Fossils, patterns of early development, similar body structures, DNA, and protein structures.
The study of: (i) Cladistics: regional biodiversity, race circles, and geographical isolation; (ii) Genetics: DNA, chromosomes, viral insertions, common mutations; and (iii) Paleontology: fossils. These are some of the types of evidence for evolution.

DNA
Actually, it is the strongest evidence for evolution. Without one fossil we would know from the DNA evidence that evolution has occurred and is occurring. It is in the DNA of organisms that we see the strongest evidence for common ancestry. The products of those genes are sometimes highly conserved down the ages. Ribosomes, the workbenches on which proteins are made, differ hardly at at between you and pets.

The theory says we may have been because of evolution evidence and close DNA
Indirect evidence refers to information that requires some form of inference or interpretation to establish a connection to a particular fact or conclusion. It does not directly prove a point but rather provides clues or support for a theory or argument. Examples include circumstantial evidence or expert opinions.
DNA molecules contain the assembly instructions for every living creature. Scientists compare DNA from ancient and present creatures to identify genetic similarities among species. The genetic similarities among species is the main evidence of evolution theory.
