88% of Greenland's population is made up of Inuits or mixed Inuit-Danish people. Europeans, especially Danish, make up for the other 12%, as Greenland is not a country, but a democracy with a constitutional monarchy to Denmark, hence the number of Danes.
The population of Greenland is about 57,000 and indigenous peoples make up 89% of the population, totaling to about 50,730.
Greenland is not composed of any nations. It is an autonomous country (somewhat like a territory) of Denmark.

Greenland is not near the Equator. The warmest countries are on or near the Equator. Because of the location, Greenland is very cold up far in the North. Everything far South or North of the Equator is usually cold. Ex. Antartica. In my opinion, Greenland should be called Iceland and Iceland should be Greenland considering Iceland is warm and Greenland is cold:)
