How is Jesus presented in the Book of Hebrews?
In the Book of Hebrews, Jesus is presented as the high priest in heaven, greater than the high priests on earth. He is better than the angels, who are commanded to worship him. Jesus is the second Moses, but superior to him. Finally, Jesus is the son of God. He is not equal to God, but God has made Jesus his heir.
It is not entirely clear in this book whether Jesus has lived on earth as a physical man, but either view could be argued. Certainly there are apparent references to his crucifixion, but the ancients could believe in a crucifixion in heaven.
