Microsoft Office 2003 was released in on the 19th of August 2003. There are many other Microsoft Offices. Microsoft XP was made before MS office 2003 and Office 2007 was made after.
Earlier it was not possible but now Microsoft has released a update to open 2007 files using office 2003. More on this at http://new-digital-world.blogspot.com/2008/03/office-2007-files-to-office-2003.html

Yes, but you need to ensure you know what you are doing. Install MS Office 2003 first, then install Office 2007 in a different directory. I have done this, but it was not easy and you need to choose only ONE version of Outlook to use or both of them will not work. Generally, it is not a good idea to use both at the same time, but it can be done.
there is a different header and there are different styles (backgrounds)MS Power point has various versions out of them are 2007 and 2003. The 2007 version is far more advanced than 2003.
The ms excel version 2007 is xlsx and the 2003 version is xls. Change the file extension of version 2007 to xls. but when you try to open the file a pop up will be displayed and the data wont be lost if we view the file.
open Microsoft Office word 2007 always re-install Microsoft office 2007
They are essentially the same program, except the 2007 version has enhancements and updates to take account of advances in computers, and new hardware being produced.
