How is PETA innovative?

It isn't. PETA is a backwards organization that believes in false and unimportant causes.

***Directed to the above answerer: While your opinion is valued, many people find that PETA is innovative, merely in it's slogan: "Animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, use for entertainment, or abuse in any way."

To be innovative is, by definition, the act of introducing new ideas, or to be original and creative in thinking. PETA is by no means innovative in its ideals. Animal rights has its origins well before PETA started. Adolf Hitler was a vegan that established laws in his Nazi Germany to give animals more rights than humans, for example. PETA is just encompassing and expanding on that, but not bringing new ideas to the table, unless it's to incite terror and fear in the general population about the "cruel" things done to animals.
