Parkinson's disease is a movement disorder that is chronic and progressive, meaning that symptoms continue and worsen over time. It presents itself in many forms.

Science has not determined it's exact cause. However it is not contagious and you cannot catch it from being around someone with the disease.

Parkinson's disease is not directly inheritable. But certain families have a predisposition which when combined with environmental factors e.g. pesticides, MSG and other toxins with lead to the death of brain tissue responsible for dopamine production.
