He's extremely smart and he also doesn't like to flirt/pick up girls which Dally was doing to Cherry and Pony didn't want to even though Two-Bit and probably any other greaser would.
Ponyboy is well-educated. He has morals. He wants to finish school, and not be caught up with the crimes of his friends, but they all love each other. Ponyboy does not like to vandalize or anything, even though he did play the smoke game with a kid's little brother who's name leaves me at this moment. Ponyboy is also very sensitive.
He doesn't say it as in trying to be mean, he says it because he doesn't want Ponyboy to get rough like the rest of the gang.
Ponyboy lost his parents, as we all know, but he had to move on not only to heal but to get on with the rest of his life. Darry told Ponyboy that because Pony has to overcome losing someone close to him again, but Ponyboy was not doing that.
Two-Bit
Soda and Ponyboy are characters from the book "The Outsiders" by S.E. Hinton. Soda is Ponyboy's older brother, known for his carefree nature and charisma, while Ponyboy is the protagonist who is more introspective and sensitive. Soda is outgoing and popular, while Ponyboy is quieter and more thoughtful.
Ponyboy is different from the other Greasers, he loves literature and enjoys watching movies. Sometimes Ponyboy doesn't think (to the dismay of Darry).I came up with these character traits:Loyal (he's always loyal to the Greasers)Bright (loves to read)Affable (all the Greasers confide in Ponyboy and think he's easy to talk to).
-Dated Cherry -mugged Johnny before the book started -mugged Johnny and Ponyboy and tried to drown Ponyboy in the fountain -was killed by Johnny (to save Ponyboy) Bob's death provided the spark for all the action in the rest of the book.
he is smart and went to school. he also was very emotional and shared is feelings.
Ponyboy has alot of foils in the book but i think the most noticable one is Ponyboy and Darry. They have both different personalities and Darry always pushes Ponyboy, especially in school. These are just a few ones, I hope you can think of some more. -R.G.R

In "The Outsiders" by S.E. Hinton, the doctor diagnoses Ponyboy with a concussion after the violent incident with the Socs. He also notes that Ponyboy is suffering from exhaustion and emotional trauma due to the recent events, including the death of his friend Johnny. The doctor emphasizes the need for rest and recovery as part of his treatment.
