He doesn't like getting into fights, he doesn't like using a gun, he loves sunsets, he respects girls more, and he is a very good student
In the Outsiders, Ponyboy can be described as reckless, intelligent, small, and other traits like those.
Ponyboy calls the other gangs more rough and organized than his.

Dally and Ponyboy ran to the car and drove off to the hospital to see Johnny before he dies. The other greasers were all in Ponyboy's house.

The outsiders are exactly two rival groups that are the Greasers and the Socs. Really i think it's the people who don't follow the rival gangs. For example, Ponyboy, johnny, cherry and randy, don't follow the trend of hating each other, so they would considered outsiders.
Ponyboy and Johnny are two of the main characters, and best friends, in the novel "The Outsiders." What Ponyboy means in this quote is that he and Johnny know each other so well that nothing needs to be said for the two to know what the other is thinking.
In the "Outsiders" By S.E. Hinton, when Cherry says that she sees the same sunrise as Ponyboy, she means that they weren't so different from each other, even considering the fact that they were Socs and Greasers.
Ponyboy Curtis only appears in S.E. Hinton's novel "The Outsiders." He is not mentioned in any of her other works.

The book The Outsiders is different than many other books that I have read. It is about a boy named Ponyboy his gang. Through out the book the members of the gang go through heart breaks and Ponyboy struggles. Ponyboy counts on his brothers and his friends. The gang, the greaser, have fights and problems with the Socs. The Socs are a vivious gang of rich kids whoes idea of a good time is beating up the Greasers. The major part of the story begins when one night someone takes it to far. I thought that it was a great book but was way different than most.
