BOYS: When a boy reaches puberty he will go through many changes, puberty can start as early as 9 and as late as 17. when a boy first starts puberty usually at around 11-12 he will start to grow pubic hair and underarm hair. Then when he is around 13-14 he will experience a growth spurt, and his penis will start to get bigger (at the age of 13-14 the average penis size can vary a lot, from 2 - 6.5 inches depending on when a boy has his growth spurt.) After a boys penis starts to grow his testicles will drop lower causing the voice to get deeper (this could happen between age 12-16) and finally towards the end of puberty a boy will grow body hair, facial hair, and anus hair. (This could happen between age 15-18, perhaps earlier, perhaps later depending on when a boy starts puberty.

GIRLS: When a girl reaches puberty she will also go through many changes, puberty can start as early as 8 and as late as 17. when a girl first starts puberty usually at around 10-11 she will start to grow pubic hair around the vagina and underarm hair. Then when she is around 11-13 she will start to develop breasts, and start having periods Which is a monthly process which means once a month blood will come out of a girls vagina, which can cause girls to be moody. She will be moody because her hormones are changing rapidly. then usually around age 12-14 a girl's hips will widen, so that when she is older she will be able to deliver a baby from her vagina, and a girls ovary will develop, with her eggs so she is able to carry a baby when she is older. Girls will also experience a growth spurt during puberty.

The similarities are the development of the sexual organs in both boys and girls.

Puberty leads to the same result for both boys and girls, adulthood and being able to sexually reproduce. Both are being inundated with hormones that are changing the body ready for reproduction.

The similarity is that both boys and girls begin to develop their sexual awareness. Hormones are causing the genitals to develop, reproduction is possible, growth occurs, the brain develops.
