World Youth Day is a celebration that Blessed Pope John Paul II inaugurated in which he would show up at a country for various Masses and other special events. A large number of priests are always available for confessions and to help with the Masses. Beyond that, each World Youth Day is planning by a Cardinal in the Vatican in conjunction with the Holy Father, and the Bishops' Conference for the country in which it is going to be held.
