animals feed on green plants by using green plant's roots, stem and leaves. the fruits of green plants contain starch and are ate by animals for living. the leaves contain energy. some plants store food in their roots. like potato, etc. the stem also contains water and food as in a cactus plant. altogether, animals depend on green plants.
