Some mountains are build and produced underground, so technically it would be a rock on top of a mountain underground. :)
Nope - they'll both hit the ground at the same time
The general theories of Physics say that both rocks will hit the ground at the same time.
rock. same as a mountain. magma makes up the lava.
The rock will have a greater speed when it reaches the ground level compared to the ball thrown horizontally because the rock will be accelerated by gravity as it falls vertically, while the ball thrown horizontally will only have its initial horizontal velocity.
The weight of a rock remains the same after it hits the ground. Weight is determined by the mass of an object and the gravity acting on it, and these factors do not change when a rock hits the ground.
A cannonball fired horizontally and one dropped from the height of the muzzle simultaneous with the shot will hit the ground at the same instant, provided only that the ground under the muzzle and the ground where the shot lands are at the same elevation, i.e. the shot was not fired off the edge of a cliff or into the side of a mountain. To solve this kind of problems, it often helps to separate the movement, or the speed, into vertical and horizontal components. In this case, the vertical component of the speed is the same.
I would imagine they live same way the above ground people live. lol
It is not a very high mountain and thus it has the same temperature as the ground temperature in the city of Cape Town which is on average between 11 and 22 degrees Celsius.
It is colder on mountains because wind pushes more clouds and cold rushes up to the top of the curve of the mountain and the same on the other side into the sky.
In a vacuum, there is no air resistance to slow down the falling objects. Both the feather and the rock will fall with the same acceleration due to gravity, and thus hit the ground at the same time. This is because gravity affects all objects in the same way regardless of their mass.
hot magma was forced out from the ground and cooled down.the same way stone mountain was formed.
