When changing the timing chain on a 1986 Dodge Aries 2.2L a diagram comes in handy. A diagram for this can be found in the cars maintenance manual.
drivers side, in the transmission. The dipstick may be broken or Missing. Look for a tube the size of a pencil.
Probably a valve timing problem. Check your timing gears and chain/belt.
It is built into the ECU.
sounds like it could be the timing when it's under a load.
Remove wheels Remove caliper mounting bolts Slide caliper off rotor Rotor should slide of center hub
First take the battery cables off and clean both ends. Next look for bad fuseable links at the starter solonoid.
NO The 2000 dodge rims are alittle big than the 1986 .
there is no timing belt it has a timing chain
10 degrees btdc with the vacuum hose to the distributor removed and plugged.
