Anime can be considered a form of modern literature due to its storytelling structure, character development, and thematic exploration. Many anime series and films are adapted from manga (Japanese comic books) or light novels, which are forms of written literature. Through its visual and narrative elements, anime explores various complex themes and issues, making it akin to traditional literature in its ability to convey meaningful stories and messages.
