Antarctica has started to melt and there is now an antarctic treaty protecting most of it. New glaciers are forming all the time and it doubles in size each winter but shrinks again in summer.

Antarctica is a continent dedicated to science. It's largest physical asset is the ice sheet that covers the continent and in winter, when the sea ice freezes, joins with it and essentially doubles the size of the continent.

The continent itself is not changing, but its ice sheet is changing, showing signs of significant melt caused by increases in temperatures all over the earth.

Antarctica holds 70% of the Earths fresh water, and over 90% is ice. Antarctica's lowest recorded temperature is 89°C.

The poles of the earth are so cold that Antarctica was frozen over by ice. To better explain it, try imagining 2 layers, on top of one another. The lower layer is land, while the layer above is ice

It depends what you mean by 'harm'. Inanimate things cannot be harmed the way animate things can. Changing its physical state perhaps.

How many times can you fit the UK in Antarctica?

The UK is about 94,060 square miles and Antarctica is about 5,400,000 square miles according to Wikipedia. Assuming that these numbers are correct, Antarctica is about 57 and a half times the size of the UK. If you wanted to know how many times the UK can be fit into Antarctica without changing the shape of the land masses, I am afraid I cannot help you.
