As a chemist I can tell you that you have witnessed chemical energy being converted to light energy everytime you see a light bulb powered by a battery. The energy in the battery is stored as chemical energy, which is released by electrons leaving chemicals and flowing through the filament in the light bulb. As the electrons flow through the filament, they release some of their energy in the form of light.
That is a rather simplified explanation, but if you want more detail, you better learn some indepth chemistry and physics first.

It stores chemical energy and when you burn wood, that chemical energy is converted to light energy and heat energy.
Light energy from the sun is converted by plants into chemical energy.
Light energy is converted to chemical energy.. - USED AS FOOD
Wood has chemical energy that can be converted into light by burning the Wood. Nitroglycerin has chemical energy that can be converted into sound by shaking it (Don't try this at home!).
chemical energy Chlorophylls capture light energy. This energy is stored in chemical bonds of glucose
photosynthesis
High-energy electrons.
In photosynthesis light energy is converted into chemical energy in glucose:water + carbon dioxide ----> glucose (sugar) + oxygen
Light energy
Energy is converted in them.In mitochondria chemical energy is kept as chemical enery but carrier changed. In chloroplast light energy stored as chemical energy.
