Yes you can. There are 3 types of the syndrome. Type 1 the kids can live to be in there late teens to early 20's. Type 2 the kids live anywhere from 3 to 8 years old. With the mildest form Type 3 they can live to be in there 30's to 50's (only a handful have this type).
