Christians believe that God (Yahweh) is in three Persons. God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit. No matter which One you are speaking about, that One is God and so God is present in Jesus because He is God.
Our Blessed Lord, Jesus Christ, is the Word of God. Thus all readings from the Bible are the Word of God, and present Him.

The simple answer is yes. We (Christians) believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the Jewish messiah, but that He is also God incarnate; or God made into man. As such we worship God of the Hebrews through Jesus. There is also the Holy Spirit which we also believe to be God. This is called the Trinity God the Father (ie Hebrew view of God), God the Son (Jesus of Nazareth) and God the Holy Spirit (which is like the essence or Spirit of God active in the present time).
