I think black ink it retarded. I think it makes it easier to forge something, because it blends in more. If you use blue ink, you can always tell if it's a copy or not. I think it's used to blend in, and making forging easier.

Their symbols for words are all done in a brushed black ink. Some are used for maps, even in the older centuries. What about the most common thing read today? The newspaper! The newspaper is usually at least 75% black ink...and thousands of them exist in just the state of New York!

Toxicity from a rubber stamp depends on the ink being used. Most all inks on today's market are considered nontoxic and would take over an ounce of ink being ingested to cause any harm.

the first pen was a feather and ink and they used that idea by thinking about how the ink would stay inside of the bottom of the feather and they used that and made a plastic tube inside of the plastic and used that to create a pen if that answers your question ;P

E ink is better than regular ink because E ink can be used electronically. E ink, since it is used electronically, doesn't require actual ink for a person to use it.
The egyptians used black ink to tattoo on eyebrows, and so forth, on the people of nobility and wealth. Makes about as much sense as the use of cosmetics, today.
