John Nash's game theory models are used in various fields such as economics, political science, and Biology to understand and analyze strategic interactions between different actors. By applying Nash equilibrium and related concepts, researchers can predict outcomes and make decisions in complex situations where multiple parties are involved. Overall, Nash's formulas continue to be relevant in studying competitive behavior and cooperation among individuals or organizations.
The Nash was created by Charles Nash, a former exec at General Motors, in 1916. It was manufactured in Kenosha, Wisconsin until 1938 when it merged with Kelvinator to create Nash-Kelvinator. In 1954, Nash was acquired by Rambler (American Motor Corporation). Nash's last year was 1957. Along the way, Nash pioneered unitary construction, the heat/ventilation system that is still used in vehicles today and seat belts. Nash was also the first to introduce the categories of compact, sub-compact and muscle cars. http://www.timelessrides.com/wiki/nash

No. You can have formulas that just use numbers, though for those it is better to put the numbers into the cells and refer to the cells. There are also some functions that do not refer to cells, like the TODAY() function.
pi is used in many different formulas. Formula for circumference, Area of a circle, and as we all know, pi is an endless decimal but technically is not repeating
Descartes' mathematical formulas are used frequently in geometry. His slope theory and other algebraic formulas related to the geometric plane are still the standard in mathematics and his ideas helped form the basis of modern calculus.
Nash by far. I used to think Iverson, but look at the Nuggets, and the Pistons. Much worse after AI than before.

There aren't any formulas used in basketball. There are plays, but not forumlas.
There are thousands of formulas and more than a hundred functions used in Excel.
