In addition, it Êconsist Êof protein Êand phospholipid bilayer, Êprotein layer release ÊproteinÊÊmolecules which act as carriers across the membrane.Ê Whereas, phospholipid bilayer Êallow small molecules such as water molecules to pass through quicker.
