Another example is weight. Weight is a measurement of your force on the planet, but mass is how much substance is in something. So the way to calculate your weight in Newtons is to take your mass (kilograms) and multiply it my the acceleration on Earth due to gravity (which is roughly 9.8 meters/second squared) and then you will get your weight in Newton's.
