There are other countries that do have slavery but they do not treat it like we did back then! =D
The South would have kept their independence. But many countries would have refused to trade with a slave-owning nation, and slavery would have died-out naturally by about 1880.
There are many different answers to this question due to all of the different opinions of this topic. I feel that the legacy of slavery is hate. For example, in the time of slavery, lynching was a very popular way of executing a runaway slave. Today, nooses have been found on trees and on peoples doors. This is why I feel that hate is the legacy of slavery.
There aren't dinosaurs anymore.
Slavery has been practiced for thousands of years, with records of slavery dating back to ancient civilizations such as Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, and Rome. The transatlantic slave trade, which forcibly transported Africans to the Americas as slaves, began in the 16th century and was abolished in the 19th century. Today, slavery persists in various forms in different parts of the world, despite being outlawed in most countries.
Yes, slavery is still happrning today because people make money off of it
it wasnt different
slavery was horrible back then for millions and thousands of African American people.
no.
No mater how far you go back in history slavery was always there. The USA in fact was one of the last developed country's in the world to abolish it and its still around today. You can safely say that the pharaos had no problem with slavery.
