A hideous mess.
You simply can't understand string theory without advanced mathematics; it's possible to come up with analogies, but in the realm of the very small, analogies often do more harm than good. So simply saying that all matter is actually made up of tiny vibrating "strings" doesn't really help you understand anything.
According to the String Theory. There is a 1D object called a 'string'. It is approximately 0.000000000001 yoctometers.
I'd divide that between string theory and thermodynamics.
The central theory of modern biology, which illuminates all aspects of that science.
String theory attempts to unify the general theory of relativity and quantum mechanics, two prominent and proven theories that are the most incompatible. If gravity and the electro-weak/strong interactions could be combined, that would create the unified field theory or theory of everything.
The most known theory in quantum mechanics would be the Broglie-Bohm theory. Other popular theories are the string theory, quantum entanglement, and SchrÌ_dinger's cat.
Most likely it is a tapeworm. Easily treated by your general practitioner.
The string theory equation is significant because it proposes that the fundamental building blocks of the universe are tiny, vibrating strings. This theory aims to unify the laws of physics and provide a deeper understanding of the universe at its most basic level. By suggesting that everything in the universe is made up of these strings, string theory offers a potential framework for explaining the complexities of the universe and bridging the gap between quantum mechanics and general relativity.
Superstring theory incorporates supersymmetry, which also allows it to describe fermions. Supersymmetry, of course, is the idea that there exists a corresponding boson for every fermion and a corresponding fermion for every boson. A nice consequence of incorporating supersymmetry is that superstring theory only needs 10 dimensions to be consistent (or without logical contradictions), while bosonic string theory requires 26. The most recent version of the Superstring theory incorporates 11 dimensions.
The key principles of the tong string theory involve the idea that fundamental particles are actually tiny strings vibrating at different frequencies. This theory suggests that all particles and forces in the universe are manifestations of these vibrating strings. The implications of this theory include the potential unification of all fundamental forces in physics and a deeper understanding of the nature of the universe at its most fundamental level.
Depends what you mean by "valid." All the statement you make about M-Theory, and string theory in general, are absolutely correct. So how do we react to them? Not even the most vociferous supporters of M-Theory would say it is the only game in town. However, even opponents of the string theory agree that the approach does something no other approach has been able to do: unify gravity with quantum mechanics. It may turn out that, 500 years from, people will be amazed that string theory was either ever (1) doubted or (2) considered as a valid science. Heliocentrism experienced the first path, phrenology the second. Only time will tell.
Alpha radiation is the least penetrating type of radiation and is easily absorbed by a few centimeters of air, a piece of paper, or even human skin.
The viola is the most compact string instrument.
