The devil is the most evil being that were existed. The devil was removed from Heaven because he thought he could be equal with his creator, God. The devil does not punish anyone, but will do anything in his power to destroy peace, ruin souls , and cause people to not follow God's laws. People are ultimately responsible for their sins. God knows all situations, however and is the only one that can judge. The devil is full of rage, and hate, and wants nothing good to happen to anyone. He hates the righteous, because he can't destroy their faith in God
