Well its Not brass, and there for is not a part of that large grouping, its not a Reed or WOOD WIND instrument, so its not in that large grouping, and its not a stringed instrument, or a drum so, it is I believe sort of its own catagorie, only including its smaller counter part the pickle-O, and possibly other Whistle Style INstruments, like the Recorder.
