There is a simple fuse clip, not a real fuse box, in this scooter as it has only one 10 Amp fuse. This fuse clip is located close to the battery. The Aero NH80 was made from 1983 to 1985 and it may not be easy to get parts for it from Honda dealers any more.
A fuse doesn't 'power' an electrical plug. A fuse protects the load supplied by that plug.
A fuse is fitted to a plug as a safety feature.
The auxiliary plug fuse can be found in the fuse box. The location of the fuse can be found on the inside cover of the fuse box.
Its a 15 amp fuse in the fuse box under the hood on the passenger side near the front. Its the only 15 amp fuse and it is in a clip. Remove the clip, replace the fuse and then reset the clip.
No, fuse box fuses are of the screw in type. Plug in fuses are of a cartridge style that plug into the fuse holder which supports the fuse on either end of the cartridge.
Press front-clip on fuse box or use a scredriver to unhinge the clip below the box than easily open the fuse box box. You may check position of clip by using a flashlight.
I just solved the same problem. Its a 15 amp fuse in the fuse box under the hood on the passenger side near the front. Its the only 15 amp fuse and it is in a clip. Remove the clip, replace the fuse and then reset the clip.
The fuse is a safety feature.
