it has four main lobes. occipital, located at the back of the skull, controls vision. Frontal, located at the front of the skull, controls our decision making, planning, and control of some muscle functions. Parietal, located at the top of the skull, controls sensations of touch and pressure and integrates all senses together. lastly, temporal, located on each side of the head just above the ears, controls hearing, and take part in the recognition of certain smells and tastes. it also plays a big role in short term memory.
