North Korea is viewed by the world very negatively for many reasons. The main reason they are currently viewed in such a fashion is because of their involvement with missiles and the launching of them.
Kim Jong Un is the leader of North Korea. (Presidents are elected by the people... the North Korean people did not choose their leader so he is not called a president. He is called Supreme Leader). He wants to control all the information that the North Korean people have access to and wants to limit the information the rest of the world has about his country. So journalists are not allowed to report anything that is not approved by the government.
