how is a owl able to spot and surprise its prey
They wear costumes to disguise them of their prey and when they close enough to their prey they do a little dance to gain the attention of their prey. Once their prey spot the owl they go to them out of curiosity. Which the owl then jumps inside then and controls them like a robot.

they help it so it can see if a predator comes
they fly and have big eyes and can turn their head 3 quarters of the way round they have big talons and swoop down and grab there prey. only birds like the barn owl are called birds of prey because they kill with there talons ...
A barn owl is prey.
owl is to mouse
The snowy owl hunts its food.(the owl sees its prey, it dives down and grabs the prey in its talons, killing it.)It hunts its prey.
A larger bird of prey or a Fox might prey on a Barn Owl, but this would be highly unlikely.
an owl eye is stationary so the owl can focus on its prey
If an owl tried to take a dog, it is unlikely to succeed because owls typically hunt smaller prey like rodents and birds. Dogs are much larger and stronger than the usual prey of an owl, so the dog would likely be able to defend itself and scare off the owl.
