Daylight's colour temperature is approx. 6000 degrees Kelvin, whereas tungsten light tends to be around 3200 degrees K.

In other words, much redder.

This can be compensated for by using Tungsten-balanced colour film, or the appropriate compensation filter for film, or your white balance for digital cameras
