Pop stars, tv stars and musicians determine what society wears, buys, and should beleive. I think it is bad because rather than looking to parents and elders for guidance people are so envolved in how other people(stars) are living which is not realistic. Maybe this has led to why teenagers have become so depressed, drink and do more drugs, have eating disorders, take steroids.
