yea. basically, color is just energized light. the more energy, the further to the left on this common known acronym: ROY G. BIV. but white requires the least amount of energy, therefore it is technically first. without red you cannot have orange, and without orange you cannot have yellow, and so on. think of it like a chain. if there was no white, the chain would never start. everything, as it says above, would just be black.
