Most lizard do not have any kind of parental care and will eat thei offspring rather than protect them. In soms skinkspecies (Scincidae) the mothers will protect their young as an exception.

Some lizards do eat other lizards but not all of them. Some lizards do eat flies and some lizards eat each other! Some do. All baby reptiles should be removed from adults except in cases like crocodiles who actually care for their young. Reptiles generally have no sentimentality.
