Reproduction: Most lizards deposit their eggs in a simple nest. The female skink may coil around her eggs to protect them from intruders. Other lizards do not lay their eggs, but give birth after hatching their eggs inside the body. Still other lizard species reproduce similar to mammals, giving birth to live young. Unlike female mammals, these female lizards do not nurse or care for their young after birth. Some species of North American whiptails and European lacertid lizards have only female individuals; adult females lay unfertilized eggs that hatch only into females.
A female and male jaguar may take care of its young for up to four years.
Actually, all I know is that that the female lion hunts as well.
I think when you asked if lizards "have babies" you may be asking if lizards give birth to live young. Most lizards lay eggs. However there are some lizards such as the blue tongue skink who give birth to live young. Therefore the blue tongue skink "have babies" rather than laying eggs.
Lizards typically lay eggs rather than give live birth. Once the eggs are laid, the female lizard may provide some initial protection by burying them in soil or guarding the nest site, but after that, the offspring are left to develop on their own. The young lizards hatch and must immediately fend for themselves in finding food and shelter.
I don't know and I don't care!!
Yes, the female takes care of the young. The male takes no part in raising the offspring.
They don't - once the young lizards hatch, they a re completely independent of the parent.

Brown lizards, like most lizards, do not deliver eggs in the traditional sense, as they are oviparous. Instead, female brown lizards lay eggs in a suitable environment, usually in soil or under debris, where they can develop safely. After laying the eggs, the female typically leaves them to incubate on their own until they hatch, with no further parental care involved.

Some lizards do eat other lizards but not all of them. Some lizards do eat flies and some lizards eat each other! Some do. All baby reptiles should be removed from adults except in cases like crocodiles who actually care for their young. Reptiles generally have no sentimentality.
