One should use this within a couple weeks. The contents of the bottle do not know what date it is and no magical chemistry changes occur overnight on the "expired" date, rather the expiration date is a target date for freshness quality and should be mixed at the very least by that date. It will do no harm if you are a day or two beyond that date.
I'm drinking canned V8 that is two and a half (2 1/2) years past its expiration date.
It expired in August 2010 and I am drinking it in January 2013, it might taste a little bit like the can, but I just brushed my teeth so it is hard to say. I really like V8 and wanted some this morning, so I just had to try it. Really, I am saving it for "just in case" and plan on using it to cook with, it comes cheap once it's past the expiration date.
Funny story. My friend gave me a case of these that his mom got for him. Between the three of us, we didn't notice they were expired. I drank 6 of them before realizing they expired an entire month before. I finished them the following week, and didn't get sick, so 5 weeks.
Actually cocoa powder doesn't go bad, studies have shown that i just looses its potency. I have had a jar of Ovaltine that's dated October 2018, and I have used it for chocolate milk for myself. Still tastes good, and still feel fine.
It depends on how expired, if it was only one or two days old, probably not. If it was anything over a couple months, I would just through it out.
4 years after
6 month the date of manufacturing.

Can I drink xango that has best by date 2019 and itβs now 2021?
Drank a can of V8 yesterday (January, 2011) and discovered today when looking at the next can that the date on bottom is Apr262007. No ill effects but I do not plan to consume the second can. Best before and expiry dates are different.
The expiration date is a guideline, and most products are good for a short while after expiration if they have been properly stored; but you should not depend in it. If its just a few days then it is probably still okay. Try tasting it and if it tastes strange then discard it.
For the fresh fruit homemade and mixed juice like we drink in our family, after a long time, the apple turns the drink brown.
You probably would not get sick unless you drank a large amount of it. Expired orange juice is made from preserved oranges. The date on the bottle is the suggested date you should open it by, not the expiration. Although it would have been more precautions to drink it by that date, it's fine if you just had SOME.Personal Experiences:I drank a thing of Fruit peach drink, it says to refrigerate after opening, it wasn't open and I had quite a big amount of it. Within 20 minutes I was puking it all up. I have no idea how old it was but it is completely possible its 1-4 years old. It gave me an upset stomach(even after puking) and I took some antacids which helped. So I would say that drinking old or expired orange juice would likely be bad for you.I have been drinking orange juice that is 2-4 weeks passed the expiration/sell by date and i haven't had any symptoms of being sick yet.

Yes they do have expiration dates it could be underneath
Juice is best when used before the expiration date because the vitamin content begins degrade after any amount of time. Flavor also begins to fade.
Orange juice that is opened does not stay fresh for long if it is not refrigerated. You should not drink it if it has been out for longer than a couple of hours.
Depending on the distance between expiration date and and the current date, organic fruit juices may be safe to eat. The expiration date may also indicate the last day before the juice loses its quality, not the last day it is safe.
No, it is not entirely safe to drink expired orange juice, or any other expired food or beverage. The expiration date represents the end of the time when the juice or food can be safely consumed without any risk. Although the risk may be very low on the precise expiration date, the risk of spoilage might increase very quickly after that date, an one cannot be absolutely certain of safety after that date.
